Trains
Trains, trains, trains,
Arriving, departing; going,
Coming from station to station,
Passengers leaving and stepping up; flowing.
To live on the way and wonder,
What is the next town holding?
Trains, trains, trains;
Mr. Sadness, Ms. Grace, Dr. Meaning; good friends,
And always on their way
Wherever it sends them.
Sometimes away, often together;
Fates intertwined,
The worse is the weather.
To chat in the road,
What a blessing!
The wagons slightly shake
As the world around is passing.
Trains, trains, trains...
The procedure is usual:
Would you mind the gap, please?
And don't forget the luggage!
Taken in an instant with ease,
Faster than cars and carriages.
Look at how swift we are!
And the path is railed before our eyes;
To live on the way and wander
Under old, ever-accompanying skies.
It's all and always trains, trains, trains,
The strolling, exquisite chain of railroads.
And who am I? A mere 'spotter;
As well as the one who operates.
